The ground rules, in plain words.
What governs the use of the site, buying courses and one-on-one sessions, including the refund policy.
Last updated:1. Who runs this site
The aimops.co website is run by AIMOPS, a sole proprietorship of Cynthia Charles based in Montreal, Quebec.
- Business name: AIMOPS, operated by Cynthia Charles
- Quebec enterprise number (NEQ): 2281725533
- Email: [email protected]
2. Accepting these terms
By using this site, you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The French version of these terms is the reference version. This English translation is provided for your convenience.
3. Using the site and the ideas board
You may browse the site for your personal or professional use. You may not use it for illegal purposes, disrupt how it works, or scrape its content automatically.
On the ideas board:
- Every idea and comment is read before it is published. I may refuse or remove any content that is offensive, promotional, off-topic or unlawful.
- Don't post any personal information, about yourself or your clients.
- By posting, you allow AIMOPS to display your text on the site and to draw on it to create future courses, without payment.
4. Intellectual property and images
The text, logo, AIMOPS name, visuals and course content belong to AIMOPS and are protected by the Copyright Act. You may not copy, resell or distribute them without written permission.
The photos of Cynthia and the illustration sections are AIMOPS's own photos. The header images on the home page and the Courses page were generated by artificial intelligence, for illustration only. They show neither a real client nor the actual result of a treatment.
5. Buying a course
No course is on sale yet. The following rules will apply once sales open.
- Format: each course is made up of pre-recorded videos and written materials, followed on your own and at your own pace. It does not include live or group classes.
- Price: shown in Canadian dollars on each course before purchase, with applicable taxes listed separately.
- Payment: one-time payment, no subscription, processed by Stripe. AIMOPS never sees or keeps your card number.
- Confirmation: you receive a purchase confirmation by email, with a copy of these terms.
- Licence: your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable right of use. Sharing your access or reselling the content is not allowed.
6. Unlimited access, support and one-on-one sessions
"Unlimited access" means you keep access to the course you bought, with no time limit and no extra fees, for as long as AIMOPS offers it.
If a course were ever discontinued, I would let you know by email at least 90 days in advance, and you could download the materials that are yours before it closes.
Support included. Your purchase includes written support: you can ask me questions about the content during and after your course.
One-on-one sessions. Live one-on-one sessions are not included in the price of a course. They are offered as an option, at a separate rate, to people who have completed the corresponding course.
7. Refund policy
Online courses. As long as access to the course has not been opened, you can cancel your purchase and get a full refund by writing to [email protected]. Once access is open, the course is not refundable, since the digital content has been delivered to you.
One-on-one sessions. You can cancel a session and get a full refund if you let me know by email at least 48 hours before the scheduled time. With shorter notice, or if you don't show up, the session is not refunded. If I have to cancel, you choose between a full refund and a new date.
Refunds are made to the original payment method, within 15 days of your accepted request.
Your legal rights. Nothing in this policy limits the rights the law gives you, including under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, which in some cases lets you cancel a contract made at a distance.
8. What the courses are, and are not
The courses and the site's content are educational. Results depend on how you apply them, your business and your clients: no specific result is guaranteed.
They are not a substitute for legal, tax, accounting or medical advice. The tools discussed (Canva, AI assistants and others) belong to other companies and are governed by their own terms.
To the extent permitted by law, AIMOPS's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the course or session concerned.
9. Links to other sites
The site may link to external sites. AIMOPS is not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
10. Privacy and cookies
How your information is handled is described in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.
11. Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top of the page shows the version in force. A purchase remains governed by the terms in force when it was made.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute falls under the courts of Quebec, without depriving a consumer of the remedies the law guarantees.
